The Headlines:    

 

Candidates need to have high speed packaging and or manufacturing equipment experience. Must have the necessary skills, aptitude, and education to perform mechanical duties such as set-up, adjustment, troubleshooting, P.M. inspections and overhauls. Demonstrated skills in hydraulic/pneumatic systems, pumps, laser alignment, power transmission (i.e. bearings, gearboxes, chain and belt drives) precision measuring tools, ability to read equipment assembly drawings and welding experience are beneficial. Assist in the training of new employees and trainees. Performs all work in a sage manner demonstrating proper use of safety equipment at all time. 
Assures customer satisfaction through identifying, as an individual and as a member of a work unity, the internal and external customers; jointly determine customer needs and means of measurement to deliver mutually agreed upon products/services. Continually investigate methods to improve customer satisfaction to achieve the ultimate goal of quality relationships. Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment. 

 

 

The Responsibilities:  

 

  • Contributes to a safe work place by performing all tasks in accordance with O.S.H.A., E.P.A, F.D.A, lock-out/Tag-out safety rules, codes policies, and regulations, and confined entry policies
  • Works as a self-motivated individual with minimal supervision while functioning as a productive team member
  • Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild mechanical assemblies to insure conformance to specifications or production requirements
  • Performs set-up, adjustment, and timing of mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve equipment issues
  • Provide support to the packaging teams
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction, provides feedback for all customer request within an hour
  • Must have good computer and communication skills

 

 

The Other Qualifications:  

 

  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Related work experience: Industrial Journey level and on-the-job experience in a heavy industrial mechanics field
