The Headlines: 

 

  • Safely and efficiently troubleshoot, program, maintain and repair electrical controls and equipment at the largest end plant in the world. 

  • Works with minimal supervision and must have the ability to solve problems with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment.  

 

The Responsibilities: 

  

  • General: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and instrumentation issues for End Manufacturing equipment, electrical distribution. Complete electrical and instrumentation preventative maintenance such as set-up, adjustment, calibration, PID tuning, and replacement/overhauls. Support End manufacturing operations and RMMC asset care resource group teams as needed. Partner with and support customer departments (Mechanical, Facilities, Process, etc) as needed. Work as a self-motivated technician with minimal supervision, always focusing towards improving equipment reliability through well executed strategy and procedures. Collaborate with team leads, planners, and operators to reduce unplanned downtime. Uses data and root-cause problem solving to drive continuous process improvement. Documents all work and activated in CMMs (SAP) in a timely manner. 

  • Electrical Craft Work: perform set up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, replacement, and programming of electrical equipment with some minor mechanical following Asset Care Methodology. Dismantle, inspect, and rebuild electrical assemblies to ensure conformance to specifications or production requirements. 

  • Instrument Technician Craft Work: Perform set up, adjustment, calibrations, ranging, PID loop control, programming, and troubleshooting of controls and instrumentation equipment, including measurement equipment. 

  • Safety: Contribute to a sage work place by performing all tasks in accordance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and FDA codes, policies and regulations, including lock out / tag out / try out, Electrical Safety and confined space safety rules, Follow waste disposal and accumulation requirements as regulated.  

   

The Other Qualifications: 

  

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required 

  • Technical training certifications strong preferred 

  • Must be 21 years or older  

  • Able to work in a team environment and flow to work 

  • Advanced electrical skills 

  • This step progression is aligned with the ICE position in the brewery, start as a qualified electrician and then pass accreditations in instrumentation and controls. 

  • Must excel in a fast paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required for success  

  • Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive, and readily embraces change provide skills training and work instruction certification, in primary craft to trainees, peers and operation personnel 

  • Technical training certifications from MC IEC program, NORAD training center or accredited equivalent required 

  • PLC programming ability and advanced Windows-based programs skills 

  • Team leadership skills 

  • Position is physically demanding and labor-intensive, requiring lifting of up to 50 pounds. 

  • Must be able to stand for periods of 8 hours or longer. 

  • Must be literate (read and write) in the English language.

Job Posting Hourly Rate: $37.72 - $39.19
