<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">In the role of an Instrumentation Controls Electrician working at the Coors Brewery in Golden Colorado you will be part of the Malting TeamAs the great Bill Coors stated, “Barley is to Beer as Grapes are to Wine”, the Malting team is the soul of our brews. You will be responsible for playing an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great malt as possible to ensure that all our US breweries are able to make as much of our great beer as possible.

<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">This position reports to the Malting Equipment Specialist Team Leader, and works alongside our leadership, operational and maintenance teams in the Malting Department.

<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""> 

<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The Responsibilities:

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Evaluate problems and generate options to find actionable practical solutions as well as acting as a resource for operational and maintenance teams when electrical/control issues occur.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Perform set-up, adjustment, timing, troubleshooting, replacement and programming of electrical equipment with some minor mechanical work as well.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Perform Electrical, Electrical Controls, and Instrumentation Control duties and some mechanical duties such as set-up, adjustment, calibration, tuning, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance inspections and overhauls.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Dismantle, inspect and rebuild electrical assemblies to insure conformance to specifications or production requirements.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Systems supported by this role include Coors custom engineered machines from the 1950’s to modern state of the art kilns.

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">This role works on the Planned Work Team which works Monday to Thursday 9.5 hours and Friday 8.5 hours.
     

<span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The Other Qualifications –

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Industrial Journeyman level or on-the-job experience with heavy industrial Electrical, Electrical Controls, Instrumentation and PLC’s.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">You must also be proficient troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC programs and processor based program/diagnostic panels.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Experience with PLC 5, SLC500 and Contrologix.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">ISA CCST Level 1 certificate with the ability to achieve a Level 2 certificate within one year.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">You are serious about, and take pride in a proven track record of delivering results.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">You have a high school diploma or a GED.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">You are at least 21 years of age.

·         <span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a background check.
