The Headlines:   

In the role of Sr Commercial Operations Analyst based in Chicago, IL, you will be part of the Commercial Center of Excellence team (CCOE). You will support our sales teams by delivering solutions for distributors and chain retailers as it relates to new product launches, seasonal craft brands, and code date action processes. You will be responsible for inventory and order gap analysis on key SKUs, maintaining alignment with supply chain on sales priorities, and providing insights to help sales understand supply chain processes and drivers of business performance. You will partner with colleagues across the enterprise to deliver against our sales forecast, deliver volume growth, and improve on the retail sales process.

 

This position reports to Manager Commercial Operations and collaborates with our Sales Regions, Supply Chain, and Marketing functions.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Support our Sales Operation Managers/Sales Operations Coordinators and enable sales teams with meaningful, actionable analysis
  • Influence and interact regularly with stakeholders (Supply Chain, Brand, Chain teams, etc.) to align on supply chain solutions to ensure product supply at retail
  • Manage and track Code Date Action processes at a regional and national level, communicating appropriately with all impacted stakeholders; act as the subject matter expert on Code Date Action for distributors and field sales teams
  • Identify order and inventory gaps and drive corrective actions on key brands and packs
  • Monitor and track performance of new items and seasonal brands; provide recommendation on final call for seasonal brands
  • Communicate ordering, forecasting, and shipping timelines on innovation and key items across the organization and with distributor partners
  • Act as a resource to Project Teams and brand teams on the execution of our programs – call out opportunities to challenge the status quo and provide recommendations to enable successful execution
  • Coordinate with National Accounts team to enable and track execution of club channel packages 

 

 The Other Qualifications:  

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial/sales or operations
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to extract insights and tell a story with data
  • Experience successfully working with cross-functional teams to meet a shared objective
  • Ability to quickly assess situation/issue, identify root cause, and resolve
  • Ability to creatively solve problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Business Objects is highly desirable
  • Understanding of supply chain and 3 tier system is highly desirable
