The Headlines:    


This role is part of the Precision and Digital Marketing Team, tasked with building the modern, digital capabilities that will enable the Molson Coors Beverage Company to use data and technology to more effectively and efficiently reach our drinkers. 


This role is responsible for enabling the marketing organization to reach the right people across all addressable channels through data and audience strategies that are powered by marketing technology solutions. As the Customer Data Platform (CDP) business owner, you will partner with media and brand teams to develop and activate strategic audiences that deliver performance-based outcomes. Additionally, this role is responsible for championing the 1st party consumer data collection and activation strategy for Molson Coors Beverage Company.


The Responsibilities: 


Consumer Data Strategy

  • Oversee the 1st party consumer data collection and activation strategy for Molson Coors Beverage Company.  Support the brand marketing, local activation and shopper teams in delivering on the strategy.
  • Partner with the legal and privacy teams on 1st party consumer data governance and compliance.
  • Uncover and manage 2nd party partnerships that allow the Molson Coors Beverage Company to increase 1st party consumer records at scale.
  • Manage 1st party consumer data performance reporting.


Customer Data Platform (CDP) Business Owner

  • Drive the adoption and evolution of the Customer Data Platform (CDP) at Molson Coors Beverage company.
  • Oversee the Customer Data Platform (CDP) including data imports, taxonomy, tagging, audience segments,  consumer opt-outs and analysis. 
  • Develop a Customer Data Platform (CDP) operational playbook for the marketing organization.
  • Translate business objectives into practical audiences, using 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data to drive personalization and segmentation that goes deeper than standard demographics. 


Partnership Management

  • Strategic oversight of key marketing technology partners (including the CDP and Data Onboarder).
  • Ability to build influential relationships across the marketing organization in order to drive data driven marketing adoption.
  • Interact with IT regularly to implement and manage key marketing technology partners.


The Other Qualifications:  


  • 7+ years experience with performance marketing, digital marketing, marketing analytics, marketing technology, or CRM.
  • Hands on experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) including building segments and activation.
  • Fully understand the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data landscape and how it can drive marketing strategy.
  • Familiarity with consumer privacy policies and national/local data privacy regulation (e.g. CCPA).
