The Headlines:   

In the role of Director – Strategy & Sales Operations working in Chicago, IL, you will be responsible for leading the development of 10B’s long term strategy and 3-year plan.  The role is also responsible for ensuring the long-term success of our 10B craft and import brands within the national chains and priority channels. In addition, this role supports 10B’s leadership team and MillerCoors Corporate M&A team on our M&A strategy.  Through leadership of direct report and oversight of MillerCoors analytics team dedicated resources, this role sets direction for analysis work to support 10B leadership team and regional teams delivering actionable insights and selling stories to be leveraged across our system and customers. This position will provide strategic project support to 10B leadership by assisting in the preparation of presentations to the Senior Leadership Team of MillerCoors, Board of Directors, and key industry events.  Finally, this role will also assist in providing subject matter expertise on the craft/ import/ cider segment to our parent company/Global BU’s and will participate in global councils where appropriate. In addition, this role will partner with the Business Analytics and Finance team in identifying brand/pack/channel/geo opportunities against our business strategy.

 

This position reports to the VP Commercial – Tenth & Blake 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Most importantly, you will lead a team of talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations 
  • Sales Operations - Act as the central point of contact for chain / channel teams
  • 10B strategy and 3-year plan development - Conduct annual situation assessment and SWOT analysis for 10B within craft/import segments 
  • M&A strategy support - Support development of 10B M&A strategy based on long term segment, portfolio, and geographic opportunities 
  • Business Analytics and Insights - Lead direct report and oversee 10B dedicated resources from MC analytics team  
  • Leadership and Communication - Act as subject matter expert on US craft business and trends.  
  • Budget Management - Ensure that all programming aligns with relevant budgets 

  

The Other Qualifications:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience (4+ years). MBA preferred 
  • You have at least 5 years experience in consulting, sales, marketing, business strategy, within an established consulting firm or CPG organization
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
  • You have 3+ years of experience working directly with sales or in role supporting sales organization
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome  
  • You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments  
  • You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow
