Job specifics:

  • Manage local Procurement Category - Commercial Indirects (marketing and sales services, POCM categories and draft installation) of intermediate complexity in Czech Republic and Slovakia with the aim to achieve optimal results in cost and quality
  • Add value to the organization by implementing best procurement practices and leading sourcing projects for commercial category across the organization
  • Lead and support development of category strategy, execution and initiatives, including change management, spend analysis, RFx, contract management, risk assessment, SRM and e-Auctions
  • Deliver against key category targets and KPIs (savings, working capital improvements, quality and service planning)
  • Lead all negotiations as related to these categories
  • Must understand country/region business priorities and needs
  • Lead contract implementation and drive contract compliance
  • Ensure coordination between the local and global/regional teams (such as other country/regional procurement managers) in order to gain maximum leverage for Molson Coors while satisfying the country needs
  • Participates on preparation of and implements approved procurement action plan to deliver aligned targeted savings in each budget year.
  • Responsible for managing category AOP cycle incl. supporting countries with their local budgets
  • Maintain relationships with selected suppliers within the category an manage internal stakeholders

 

Qualifications and required experience

  • Experience: Procurement/project management experience with substantial professional experience around 3 years, preferably working in an international environment
  • Tendering: Strong ability to deliver successful competitive tendering processes
  • Broad-based experience in sourcing, buying and/or contract management from international markets
  • Negotiation: Advanced ability to plan, prepare and conduct fact-based negotiations
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills, including presenting complex information to varied audience
  • MS Office package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) is essential; Skills in using advanced sourcing tools (such as Ariba) are preferred; knowledge of SAP would be considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced skills in data analysis
  • Proficiency in Czech and English essential
  • Building Relationship: the ability to build and leverage mutually beneficial relationships and networks with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Supplier Management: Strong ability to execute engagement and to develop and manage relationships with suppliers
  • Risk Management & Commodity Modelling: Good ability to assess and mitigate/manage category and commodity risks
  • Contract management: Very good ability to understand and apply leading contracting policies and processes in all category work
  • Global thinking: the ability to leverage global knowledge and trends to improve local performance
