Your Purpose

 

As our Senior Manager for Mobility and Reward, you’ll shape our mobility offer and have the opportunity to add value in a global business.

 

Whilst we’re a global business, we don’t have a large mobility programme in our EMEA APAC division so in this role you’ll serve as a subject matter expert and single authority on mobility matters, and provide thought leadership for international mobility in EMEA & APAC. This is an opportunity to influence and deliver our mobility strategy.

 

You’ll use your experience in mobility and reward to manage mobility processes and effectively partner with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure high end-to-end mobility experience, influencing senior stakeholders to find the right mobility solutions for the business whilst balancing the talent attraction and legislative constraints.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive the Mobility strategy for EMEA & APAC to ensure international assignment and relocation policies and practices are competitive, compliant, in line with the business needs as well as desired employee experience. Stay close to the external mobility trends, business and employee needs. Anticipate future developments. Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and optimize the cost effectiveness and ROI of the mobility programs. Align with senior business leaders on implementing relevant changes to the mobility framework, policies and processes where needed. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and authority on international mobility matters. Stay abreast of changes in international tax laws, immigration regulations, and employment legislation to ensure compliance and minimise risks. Act as a trusted advisor, educate HR and business leaders on the complexities the mobility operates in and the timescales to comply. Partner with HR, Business leaders and mobility providers to find solutions to international mobility business needs. Advocate for mobility practices that balance talent attraction with cost effectiveness and legislative constraints. Partner with the talent team to strengthen the globally mobile talent pool.
  • Manage end-to-end mobility process for individual mobility cases including assignment planning, immigration, tax compliance and relocation logistics. Ensure the mobility policies and processes are transparent, well understood and well executed by all involved parties, support business case and individual job offer preparation. Partner with HR, legal, finance, managers and employees to address complex mobility issues.
  • Manage supplier relationships for international mobility services including tax, immigration and relocation assistance. Ensure services provided meet quality standards and are cost effective.
  • Manage delivery of the allocated priority Rewards projects and activities through the first-class project management execution. Ensure all deliverables are identified, planned and delivered as per plan.

 

About You:

 

You’ll need to have experience in a mobility role, but you could have gained this in a consultancy or a similar in-house role. You won’t have a team reporting to you, so will need to be able to think strategically but also be hands-on in delivering.

 

Throughout the assessment process, you’ll be able to show:

 

  • Good track record of managing and governing international mobility programs. Strong understanding of mobility best practices and cultural considerations.
  • Experience in designing of international mobility policies, practices and processes, ability to design fit for purpose solutions consistent with the business strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and handle multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Highly skilled in stakeholder management and relationship building skills to work effectively with different seniority of leaders and different cultures.
  • Excellent verbal and writtern communication skills in English. A demonstrated effectiveness articulating, presenting and educating senior management regarding both international mobility strategies and complexities.
  • Ability as a respectful business partner able to effectively consult, influence, resolve conflicts and inspire change.
  • Experience in managing vendors including contract management, service level management and issue resolution.
  • Highly skilled critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Highly skilled and effective getting work done through others - with pace and diplomacy
