The purpose of this position is to lead and run activities in brewing & packaging department. Main responsibility within this position is an effective cost control of dedicated area & ensuring and respect mandatory standards of EHS, FS, HACCP and WCSC 2.0
Brewing & Packaging Manager (Production Manager) is actively leading team development, building relationships to internal and external customers and is an ambassador of continues improvement philosophy
Key Responsibilities
1 Leadership
- Contributes via effective leadership to business needs achievement and loss identification & elimination
- Leading teams through building cohesion (internal / external SLA) with others and coaching them to create autonomy (autonomous teams)
- Ensuring that mandatory policies and procedures are respected and kept updated
- An active member of meetings ensuring that information flow (vertical / horizontal) is efficient with responsibility to assigned projects, tools and actions
- Leading the brewing and packaging department performance via defined KPIs and is responsible for setting of right corrective actions or mitigation
2 Continuous improvement
- Accountability for respecting standards (EHS, QA & FS, SOP)
- Implementation of WCSC 2.0 (IWS) pillars in Brewing & Packaging and ensuring of effective usage of dedicated tools
- Actively seeking for VOP initiatives and best practice sharing
- Contributes to LRP CAPEX and technical master plan within brewing & packaging area
- Leading of Autonomous Maintenance pillar on plant level
3 Cost control
- Responsibility for budgeting process (brewing & Packaging) in area of VIC (BOM) and FIC (ZBB)
- Responsibility for VIC & FIC in production
- Regular cost control with corrective action setting
- Responsibility for reporting of required data – correct numbers in right time
- Responsibility for cost control in case of dedicated CAPEX projects
4 Team development & capability build
- Responsibility for team development to ensure right capability on place & succession plan in place
- Coaching the team, creating relevant depelopment plans, holding regular 1:1
- Leading the team through the capability build to the team autonomy
- The development strategies in line with WCSC 2.0 philosophy and the misson of the brewery

Requirements:
- Education: Biotechnology / Food chemistry
- Managerial, leadership, communication & organizational skills
- Analytical approach, good project management skills
- 3+ years experience at similar managerial position - leading teams of approx. 50 people
- Continuous improvement mindset, coaching capability
- Fluent English
- Brewing technology knowledge
