Brand Manager Slovakia - position overview

 

This role serves as the key marketing lead for the Slovak market, acting as the main interface between the local Brand/Consumer Marketing team and regional/global stakeholders. You will manage a diverse portfolio of brands, including partner brands from ABI and Diageo (Staropramen, Cool, Stella Artois, Corona, Guinness,...), and oversee everything from strategic planning and innovation to flawless execution of consumer activations.

This role is reports directly to the Marketing Director CZ/SK, you will work independently while collaborating closely with agency partners, sales, trade marketing, and regional brand teams. You will provide strategic input into brand development, lead campaign adaptation and execution, and ensure consistent performance tracking and evaluation across the portfolio.


What will be your key responsibilities?

 

  • BRAND STRATEGY & PLANNING: Lead the development of annual brand plans for Molson Coors, ABI, and Diageo brands in Slovakia. Provide strategic input based on local market insights, support the Marketing Director in finalizing brand strategy, budget allocation, and KPI recommendations.
  • EXECUTION of Campaigns, Activations and events: Own the end-to-end execution of brand campaigns, activations, and events. Adapt and localize global toolkits in collaboration with regional brand teams. Ensure flawless execution across all consumer touchpoints.
  • INNOVATIONS: Lead the innovation pipeline from ideation to launch. Collaborate with regional innovation teams and ensure local relevance and feasibility. Manage SKU portfolio, packaging, and registrations in the deposit system.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Act as the main contact for ABI and Diageo partners, regional brand teams, sales, trade marketing (COMEX), and agencies. Coordinate planning, approvals, execution, and reporting across all stakeholders
  • PERFORMANCE & REPORTING: Monitor brand performance through KPIs, market data, and campaign effectiveness. Deliver regular reporting to regional teams, Marketing Director, ABI/Diageo partners, and Slovak commercial team. Provide actionable insights to drive portfolio growth.
  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: Manage a marketing budget. Propose investment plans, control spending, and optimize expenditures.
  • COMMERCIAL REPRESENTATION: Represent marketing in regular commercial meetings, sales conferences, and briefings. Ensure alignment with the commercial calendar and sales priorities.

 

What should be your background?

Minimum of 3 years marketing experience
Slovak or Czech - Native, English - Advanced
Solid foundation in brand management; knowledge and experience in every element of the brand mix (product development, packaging, advertising and promotions, pricing etc.)
Knowledge of agency management routines and experience from managing agencies
Experience in creative development (advertising, promotions, brand identity and others)
Knowledge of market/marketing research tools and ability to use those in everyday work
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Strong independence and ability to prioritize and manage a complex agenda
Target oriented, open minded, team player, positive attitude, drive
Driving license
