The Headlines:

In the role of Distributor Market Manager in Metro New York, you will be part of the Northeast Region Sales Team.  This role leads the strategic planning of the customer and is responsible for the coaching and developing the team to execute the plans.  This role is a key contributor to the Sales & Operations Planning process which requires strong internal relationships with multiple areas of the business including Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance. 

 

This position reports to General Manager of Sales and works closely with the Chain Sales Executives and Field Marketing.  

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Leads supply planning process for the purpose of developing and executing strategic plans to help the company hit revenue and profit goals.

 

  • This role Identifies and builds collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, both inside and outside of  the company to include Sales, Marketing, and Finance. These relationships are critical for effective and aligned Sales and Operations planning. This role should be looked at as a partner by all its key stakeholders.

 

  • This role manages an team of 2-4 Direct reports and overall team of 8-12 professionals in support of developing and execution of strategic sales plans. Ensures team is focused, well-trained for delivering expected business results while living the MolsonCoors values and demonstrating these in their every day behavior.

 

The Other Qualifications:

  • 7 plus years  in sales and team management at previous CPG company. Beverage or Alcohol preferred
  • analytical and strategic thinking skills     
  • Understanding of metro new york market and the three tier distribution system preferred                                  
  • Strong, collaborative leadership of cross-functional teams, including driving change                                         
  • Strong written and oral communication, including ability to develop and deliver executive-level presentations                                               
  • Retail strategy & execution                                        
  • Coaching and development                                        
  • Proactive decision making

Job Posting Salary Range: (NYC) $125,800 - $180,800
