The Headlines:   

In the role of Sr. Business Intelligence and Analytics Designer working in Milwaukee, WI you will be part of the North America IT Solution Delivery Business Intelligence and Analytics team.  The person will work with business users to design, develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions, reporting on the progress of system development projects, and ensuring that those projects are carried out in accordance with standards and procedures.

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy and transition of BI and analytics solutions to address business requirements, typically on the largest, most complex, or most strategic initiatives
  • Act as technical leader and subject matter expert in designated functional domains along with providing support to third-party providers
  • Engage to fill critical gaps on projects, to respond quickly to crises, to help put troubled projects back on the right track, and to serve as a point of escalation for the support (Run) team
  • Build relationships with users and acquire knowledge of additional tools through hands-on delivery roles on projects and in other ways including training and networking
  • Support business report owners and expert users

 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the data and analytics field or in lieu of a degree, 9 years of experience related to data and analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
  • Possess advanced knowledge and technical skills in the following Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions: SAP Business Objects and Tableau
  • At least one full life-cycle system implementation, or three full life-cycle major system change initiatives, serving in a hands-on role involving Business Intelligence or Analytics solutions
  • Direct, hands-on experience designing and developing business intelligence or analytics solutions
  • Familiarity with agile and/or DevOps ways of working
  • Previous experience estimating resource needs for any size project
  • You are serious about results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering 
  • You are a skilled negotiator focused on the client; your constant curiosity fosters your innovative style and you can equally execute ideas given to you
