Your Purpose


We're looking for a National Sales Manager to join our team based in Scotland.


As a National Sales Manager you’ll recruit, lead, manage, coach and develop a team of Brand Development Managers working across channels and trade sectors to ensure that the team deliver targeted KPIs as well as brand & customer trading strategy.


As a key role in our Scotland Leadership team, you’ll have responsibility for key accounts as well as managing senior level relationships with wholesale partners.


You’ll be in the heart of the On Trade with your team by ensuring all team members are working to agreed operational standards and exhibiting agreed values and behaviours, you’ll do this by spending at least 40% of time in trade coaching the team.



You’ll also be responsible for:


  • Align in-field activities to brand & customer activity by region as per sales plans and targets.
  • Analyse all available data sources ( internal & external ) to identify opportunities for growth
  • Act locally but with the One Team approach in mind
  • Evaluate activities and feedback to stakeholders to ensure continual improvement
  • Share best practice across regions as required
  • Data Manage the data passed from the wholesalers with the appropriate level of data protection integrity.




• Experience in Field sales or customer management across FMCG or / and On trade

• Numerate with strong commercial acumen

• Negotiation Skills

• Extensive knowledge of the Scottish On Trade environment

• Strong presentation skills

• Team focused
