We’re looking to recruit Customer Activation Executive (Events) – Mobile based

Our Purpose


The role of Customer Activation Executive is to support the MFST (multi-function selling team) in executing the delivery of flawless brand activations focusing on customer events such as trade marketing events and small trade shows.  


The individual would support the Route to Market area alongside delivering our contractual trade marketing events and partnership obligations.


Responsible for delivery of our trade marketing events plan, an area that is vitally important for us, focussing on a combination of virtual and actual events, this person would lead the execution of these events and ensure our brands show up consistently and brilliantly at every occasion.


This role would also cover the execution of our partnership plans across the On Trade, a pivotal part to enabling our brands in outlet. This plan will be aligned to our brand growth targets and also help enable brand plans in outlet.


  • The CAE is a key execution role in the MFST, working with agility based on opportunities and challenges, across various customers as required.  The No 1 focus of this role is smooth execution of the agreed brand activations. 
  • You will ensure you have the right customer operational knowledge to shape and execute appropriate brand activations for your customer base.  Working directly from the brand guidelines, and only tailoring where genuinely required. 
  • The CAE may be also responsible for certain elements of managing and forecasting a budget, this will be defined by individual role. 
  • Working with the MFST the CAE will define evaluation metrics against key initiatives (regardless of funding) and incorporate the learning’s into improving the effectiveness, ROI and performance moving forward
  • As a field based, sales role you will be out in trade with customers regularly from pitches and tender work, through to sampling (possibly evenings in the on trade or store in the off trade) and delivering brilliant brand activity in store – this will be supported in some cases by other members of the customer MFST. 


About You


  • Proven experience in customer marketing or brands marketing  
  • Preferred experience within organising and delivering events and trade shows
  • Experience of successfully managing multiple stakeholders and priorities  
  • Experience of effective supplier management  
  • Confidence in managing budgets   
  • Customer Activation Executive roles are field based and if the role is area specific e.g. Scotland the role holder must live within a commutable distance to the patch.
