We’re now looking to recruit a Head of Supply Chain for our Irish operations.


Position Overview


In this brilliant role with a wide and varied remit, you’ll lead all areas of manufacturing and logistics within Ireland. You’ll have accountability for the Franciscan Well breweries and logistics distributor agreements.  You’ll also partner the commercial teams to ensure we are driving first choice for customers whilst also managing costs.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the Ireland breweries and secondary distribution network contract ensuring that customer service and product availability remains industry leading at the lowest possible costs.
  • Accountable for development of, and delivery of brewery KPI's incorporating EH&S, Quality, Cost, Cash and Service. Responsible for implementation of WCSC 2.0 (our lean manufacturing programme) and new ways of working, acting as a lead coach.
  • Ownership of Capacity and Capability LRP and reviews, as part of the supply chain review. 
  • Drive team engagement across the Supply Chain Team in Ireland by creating, developing and implementing a Supply Chain engagement plan, including succession planning, engagement building and performance management.
  • Full financial responsibility for the manufacturing and logistic elements to our Irish operations.


About You


We’re keen to hear from experienced supply chain/manufacturing professionals from a brewing, beverages or FMCG background. Ideally, you’ll have higher national qualifications in brewing, packaging or a supply chain related discipline.


You’ll need to have a demonstrable career history in leading complex manufacturing environments and some experience of lean manufacturing or similar, implementations.


As the role has a wide remit, it would also be beneficial if you have logistics and commercial experience.
