The Headlines:

We are currently looking to recruit a Stock Analyst  for our Burton on Trent Brewery. Responsible for the reporting and resolution of transactional data issues including STO's, POD's and idoc management. This includes the transition from IS into the business and the ongoing improvements required to drive process efficiency.

Providing the on-going data analysis to ensure stock policy is maintained and governed on a regular basis.  Through the generation of the following reports:

Freight pay ownership. Report ownership and investigation in secondary discrepancies against Trade Team’s Primary invoice.  This investigation requires summary, delegation and task management of discrepancy investigation.  Ensuring the reconciling is correct has a commercial impact on the business. Estimated between £150k - £200k.Distribution owner of the short-dated stock policy - ensuring the data is shared across relevant planners and driving the correct action plan. Work alongside existing stock analyst and wider team to cover key processes across Holidays and sickness. This includes stock alignment between Opus and Aurora.


The Responsibilities:

  • Implement an agreed inventory policy to ensure optimal stock levels are held in our Secondary depot network.
  • Idoc resolution management - managing the process and resolution for errored idocs into SAP from Aurora and Opus. This role will manage the transition from IT and ensure that business documentation is up to date.
  • Short dated stock policy - ensure the reporting and prioritisation of at risk sku's is being communicated to the planners and ensuring the relevant plan is put in place to mitigate.
  • Provide support to Stock Alignment Analyst in covering key activities such as stock alignment and obsolescence reporting.

    SKU Performance – Monthly Review

    Stock Placement & Change Management- Quarterly Review

    Ongoing EOQ review

    Stock Policy Compliance


The Other Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years of Logistics and Replenishment experience
  • SAP ECC & APO experience
  • Analytical experience
  • Broad-based experience in supply chain
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Effective written and oral communications
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
