We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain Procurement to join our Procurement Leadership Team. You’ll lead a high-performance regional category team covering multiple areas of spend and support in the design of procurement strategy for Western Europe.

 

Your Purpose

 

As a credible and personable leader, you will lead, develop, motivate and inspire a high-performance team of procurement professionals within the regional category strategy in relation to direct materials.

 

You’ll be accountable for several local/regional categories of high complexity successfully using your strategic sourcing principles.  You’ll own contract compliance ensuring commercial deliverables, organizational protection and minimising risk.

 

You’ll managing local/regional suppliers, including score carding and KPI management whilst handling the creation of category RO's within the region.

 

You’ll have full commercial accountability for delivering results in cost savings, payment terms, spend under e-Procurement and compliance. In addition to this you’ll be responsible for managing and reporting on category AOP cycle, including yearly planning activities deliver and LRP for the function and categories.

 

You’ll expertly manage stakeholders within country and act as principal business partner with senior level internal stakeholders. You’ll have active involvement involved in the ZBB process and bring to life transformational and strategic initiatives to support the LRP.

 

About You

 

We’re keen to hear from senior procurement professionals who have previous experience leading a procurement function in a large and complex organisation. You’ll ideally be CIPS certified with significant and demonstrable career achievements in international procurement leadership roles within manufacturing.  

 

We’re looking for someone who has outstanding technical skills and a comprehensive knowledge of strategic sourcing principles and practices. Applicants who can demonstrate achievements in digital transformation, innovation and sustainability within procurement will be preferred.

 

In addition to the above you’ll have outstanding leadership, communication and influencing skills.
