We’re now looking for a Director of Category Management and Brand Insight to join our brilliant Marketing Team for Western Europe.


We operate a hybrid model here at Molson Coors, so two days will be office based, and three working remotely. As a People First organisation, we’re also happy to discuss flexible working options.


Your Purpose


A high-profile leadership role sitting on the Marketing Leadership Team you will define and deliver the Category Management Strategy, where our category thinking and the value it unlocks for all is recognised by customers and the wider industry as world class.


You’ll be accountable for the delivery of Regional Consumer Brand illumination insights essential to the development of Brand Equity, Communications, TTL Brand Plans and Brand innovations and and ROI analysis of marketing activities.


The role leads a team of outstanding Category Managers and will contribute to the shaping of our business.


Key Responsibilities


  • You’ll proactively influence customers on category growth drivers; shaping tailored solutions for key customers and deliver successful training to drive category growth across the on and off trade.
  • You’ll lead the team to deliver powerful Shopper and Guest Insights to enable building of compelling TTL plans and unlock value for our Brands and customers.
  • You’ll lead the team to deliver local regional consumer brand illumination, in the context of the Divisional Macro Consumer Trends and Brand Health Tracking, as a critical input to brand equity development and strategic brand planning, and ROI of our marketing activities.
  • You’ll lead the team to deliver the Consumer Learning Plan to deliver strategic insights and creative validation to enable creation of best-in-class consumer communications, creative development and Horizon 1 brand innovations that deliver the LRP.
  • You’ll identify and lead the relevant agency partners relationships.



About You


We’re keen to hear from experienced leaders in the Category Management and Consumer Insight space, ideally those that have worked within a branded environment. Beverages or consumer goods would be ideal, and you’ll need to have experience of category as either owner or expert user with experience in interpreting customer and consumer data.


You’ll have demonstrable and extensive experience of building consumer insight learning plans and strategic interpretation of a broad range of insight building inputs from research to quant data.


As this is a leadership role, you’ll have brilliant people skills and be able to manager a wide variety of internal stakeholders and major customers.
