We’re looking to recruit a Shift Manager based in our Canning deparment at Burton Brewery

This is a shift based role: 4 on 4 off ( 2x days, 2x nights )

Your Purpose

This role is designed to deliver a smooth-running operation within the Canning department, you will be responsible and accountable for the production outputs of your shift and the achievement of optimum efficiency and a pre-defined level of performance results through leading and motivating your shift team.

 You will be expected to use lean manufacturing tools to improve performance and capability within your team. You will work at a situational and systemic levels and will need to be able to respond quickly to business and team needs and flex between levels accordingly.

You will be responsible for audit performance within the department including monitoring actions and results to ensure on-going compliance to EHS and Quality standards.

About You

• You must have effective written and verbal communications skills
• Great leadership / managerial skills
• You have a proactive approach to problem solving
• Batchelor degree in a Technical, Manufacturing or Engineering discipline or relevant equivalent industrial experience
• You will be an enthusiastic flexible individual with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across departments.
