We’re looking to recruit Regional Commercial Finance Business Partner.

Your Purpose

As Regional Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will support the development of the business strategy across Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Italy and Spain.

You’ll get to know the mechanics of each business model in the various territories, understanding the commercial structures and effectively partnering with the leadership teams.

Using your ability to provide commercial analysis, you will help the regional business to move in the right direction and recognise developing opportunities in the market.

You won’t be restricted to one side of the business, but instead work across both On and Off Trade in the region, gaining true insight and commercial knowledge of the way in which the business operates and grows.

Whilst you’ll report to and work closely with the Director of Commercial Finance, you will also be a key advisor to the Regional Business Director and his team. The team will look to you for advice on aspects of trading, profit performance and credit management. Prior to agreeing deals, you will be a key part of the approval process to ensure there is robust evaluation before we invest and maintain an airtight post deal evaluation process.

This is an exciting time for our business as the Region looks to expand into new markets and territories; you will be part of that process, helping to guide the business decisions. Identifying risks and opportunities in the forecast comes naturally to you and you comfortably provide this support to your partners.

You’ll review the period end close and balance sheet reconciliations which have been prepared by our team of analysts assessing any opportunities or risks that may appear.

Investments will be a key part of this role and you’ll be there to provide central support to the review process, ensuring we adhere to the trading policy.

You’ll be out with the teams in trade, understanding our business and how we are turning up for our customers. You’ll stay close to the sales teams, supporting our credit and lending team to drive reduction in accounts receivable through weekly calls and encouragement of action on account debt reductions.

This role is fast paced and the priorities will change quite quickly so you’ll be ready to adapt and think on your feet, using your commercial insight and financial skill set to be a trusted advisor to the business.

Given the territories, you will be travelling on a monthly to quarterly basis to build your relationships and immerse yourself in the detail of our breweries across Europe.

About You

You’re a rapport architect, building relationships wherever you go with your passionate attitude and genuine interest in people. You comfortably challenge respectfully and can understand different points of view.

You understand the financials beneath a business and can interpret data into a tangible business plan.

You’re curious and want to understand the bits that aren’t fundamental to your role but give you that extra edge and knowledge.

We have some great brands and more to add to the portfolio soon. You’ll share our passion for great beverages, from craft to core, and enjoy keeping up to date with developments in the industry.

You’ll have excellent attention to detail, getting into the data to pull out the story within.

You are comfortable partnering a team of people and happy to stand up and present your craft and engage your audience.
