We now have an opportunity for a Marketing Controller working in our Off-Trade area of the business

The role is on a hybrid basis, so two days in the office, the other three remote as we feel this allows us to maintain and evolve our brilliant people first culture yet give people the flexibility.


Your Purpose


As a Category Manager with us your aim will be to turn the purchase intent of MCBC Brands that has been built by the Brand teams into actual purchase at the right value, by developing a detailed understanding of Customers, the role of the category to customers and developing the optimal range & space recommendations to maximise category value & MCBC brand presence


What you will be doing:


  • Produce customer/channel reporting and informing on category dynamics (incl. Seasonal events).
  • Drive customer engagement for Category, built through strong customer networking and clear action plans.
  • Identify Category opportunities and vulnerabilities based on customer data analytics/insights.
  • Deliver the perfect outlet benchmarks in their channel/customer vs. ambition
  • Deliver key category projects in customer, aligned to MCBC strategic intent (e.g. Range Reviews / Governance).
  • Shopper / Guest expert in customer, working with CMM to develop compelling activation plans


About You


  • Proven Category Management experience of working to develop category arguments and delivery to customer decision-makers.
  • A track record of developing effective working relationships with customer decision makers
  •  Comfortable contributing to the development and delivery of profitable joint business plans.
  • Direct experience in Brands, Sales and Customer marketing can be advantageous
