This role is remote so can be based in any of our legal entities across CEE and WE

Your Purpose

 

In the role of Senior Internal Auditor you will be part of the Divisional Audit team that reports into our Global Function. You will be tasked with providing assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve our operations. 

 

This position partners with business functions to identify areas of risk, make valuable recommendations to management, and to influence change and decision within the organisation. This is a brilliant opportunity to identify tangible opportunities that add value to the business and you will have exposure to unique challenges of the beverage industry. 

 

Key Responsibilities include:

 

  • Participate in the execution of audits to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of financial and operational controls, the reliability and accuracy of data and information systems, and the adequacy of controls over segregation of duties, safeguarding of assets and corporate governance.
  • Examine evidence obtained during audits with respect to compliance with policies, adequacy of procedures and effectiveness of controls.
  • Document controls and audit processes under review (e.g. interview persons in areas under review to gain understanding of how systems and/or processes operate) using various audit tools.
  • Execute audit tests competently in accordance with policies and procedures. Prepare audit work papers documenting audit steps in the audit program. Ensure information is presented clearly, concisely, accurately, in a logical format, and has appropriate audit conclusions.
  • Assist in making oral, and/or written presentations (e.g. discussion outline) at the end of an audit.
  • Participate in discussing observations, recommending corrective actions, and assisting with suggesting improvements to processes reviewed
  • Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing and assist with external audit reliance

 

About You

 

You will have experience of internal or external audit, ideally within a manufacturing environment or a similar industry. 

 

You understand the importance of true business partnering and recognise the ways in which to add value to the business through audit, recognising opportunity areas and suggesting ideas to the business.

 

Speaking to stakeholders comes naturally to you and you comfortably build authentic relationships with the wider team and quickly develop credibility.

 

The role is covering the EMEA APAC region, with particular focus on Central Eastern Europe and Western Europe (UK, Spain & Italy) and there will be a varying amount of travel across these regions dependant on business need. To be transparent, if the need arises, you could spend between 30-50% of your time travelling across our sites.
