Your Purpose:

In your role, you will own the Enterprise Risk and Crisis management agenda for EMEA APAC, partnering with leadership to provide continual risk assessment, and ensuring proper development, implementation, and ongoing management, of a best practice Enterprise Risk Management process and procedures throughout the Division providing comprehensive, consistent and accurate divisional modelling, analysis, and management of risk to support to the EMEA APAC business.

In addition, you will be responsible for the EMEA APAC Crisis Management programme, ensuring alignment with the North American Division and providing comprehensive planning and training to ensure business preparedness in the event of a major threat to the division.

 

You’ll cooperate internally within the EC&G team and support other team members in their work on business continuity planning, insurance management, contract review, operational risk management (loss prevention) and M&A due diligence as per the need and E&C, and you’ll ensure adequate reporting to the Ethics, Governance and Compliance Director EMEA and APAC, and to the Divisional Leadership team, about the progress of the Risk Management and Crisis Management programs.

You will build strong relationships and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders that share responsibilities as part of the described processes.

 

You will also maintain the budgeting/financial data to enable robust tracking of spend.

 

About You:

  • You’re highly experienced in Risk Management/Crisis Management in an international environment within an FMCG organisation, and you’re looking for a role where you can demonstrate your track record developing, implementing and managing Enterprise Risk Management/Crisis Management processes.
  • You are able to understand how risk management can empower a business and drive ahead into new areas with a full understanding of the risks it runs and, with the buy-in of the executives
  • You possess excellent interviewing skills and get the information required to help you make key decisions whilst your time management, organisational and prioritisation skills are highly advanced.
  • You put people first, you’ve proven you can build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external team members, and you can demonstrable your ability to work with manage key stakeholders effectively.
  • You are bold and decisive, you make informed decisions through data and are comfortable in both supporting and challenging business leaders developing robust risk management / crisis management programs
  • You take accountability, you’re a self-starter who wants to get stuck in, roll their sleeves up and get stuff done, it doesn’t matter to you if the processes are not yet fully developed, you expect that when joining a new team.
  • You learn every day, you’re not afraid of ambiguity, you’re naturally curious, and you strive for continuous improvement using feedback effectively
  • You are collaborative and supportive, and you understand the importance of delivering results through people; you celebrate success together with your direct team and your key stakeholders
