The Headlines:   

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the planning and execution of marketing communications across online and mobile communications platforms.  The role will be the primary liaison between Marketing and external agencies, to drive best-in-class Marketing communications across all brands in the portfolio.  The role will provide thought leadership and expertise on how to win in the digital space, through identifying new technologies and platforms, and establishing best practices for existing channels and platforms. The position requires specialized technical skills and a balance of marketing experience and technical competency around online and mobile platforms


The Responsibilities: 


  • Working collaboratively with Marketing teams and agencies from planning/briefing through launch to ensure excellence in execution, clear business requirements, and best practices.
  • Specifically managing the media planning, analytics, innovation through to execution in the digital space for of a set of brands the central America region
  • Consistently communicating a compelling media strategy which reinforces brand equities and objectives in order to achieve business goals. Build media plans that drive business results and embrace the digital consumption habits of consumers.
  • Identify, develop, and execute use of data and technology in marketing to improve marketing effectiveness – real time measurement tools that brands can implement for creative and media optimization
  • Helping identify sources of truth and KPIs that are predictive of success, and create dashboards that enable the Marketing team and agency partners to optimize media and creative executions with confidence
  • Establishing and reporting KPIs/success metrics for digital communications
  • Work in concert with key stakeholders to ensure digital tech solutions are in service to overarching marketing vision
  • Interact with Brand Marketing, , Legal and partner  marketing and Media Team on a regular basis to ensure best in class results
  • Share best practices and ensure enterprise value
  • Managing agency partner(s) during design/build to ensure plans accelerate MCBC performance in the digital space. Projects are managed to time & budget.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by pushing for new directions and ideas. Staying on top of the latest trends/platforms/technologies in digital and social marketing.
  • As a subject matter expert, this role will provide on-going education to Brand Marketing and other internal functions so that the enterprise can keep up with the pace of change in marketing.
  • Approximately 30-40% travel is associated with this position.



The Other Qualifications:       

  • Bachelor’s degree  or 7+ years of media or digital marketing or tech experience
  • Experience with a digital agency or in the CPG industry a plus
  • CPG Marketing
  • Sales experience
  • Fully understand the evolving marketing technology landscape and its effect on marketing strategy
  • Knowledge of digital/social media marketplace
  • Familiarity with Data Management Platforms (DMP) and their use, experience in execution preferred
  • Familiarity with the following tools: Comscore, DCM, MRI, Nielsen OCR, White Ops,Nielsen DBE, etc.
  • Ability to manage self and working environment
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity
  • Creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Strategic insight and analytical rigor.
  • Fully Bilingual English and Spanish.
