Your Purpose

We have a really exciting opportunity for a Commercial Capability Manager to join us, responsible for our total EMEA APAC Division.  You will be part of the EMEA & APAC Talent, Leadership and Development Team, reporting into the Functional Capability Director. Responsible for shaping the Commercial Capability Strategy across the EMEA/APAC division and developing a plan that is aligned to the regional needs of the business for now and the future.

You will partner with regional talent teams (and Business Leaders via those regional talent teams); subject matter experts and learning designers to produce development experiences in line with best-in-class adult learning principles that are consistent, effective and efficient. Ability to deal with 3rd party agencies as appropriate. As such there will be complex stakeholder management as you seek timely input from talent teams and regional leaders and develop one divisional plan for commercial capability.

 

The role also requires robust project management to plan and execute at pace; and strong commercial rigour to determine where investment of resources should be made and how the impact of learning can be measured.

 

About You

 

This role forms an integral part of our EMEA APAC team.  We’re looking for someone who’s really passionate about building the capability of our people, to step change our commercial performance; someone who’s excited about the future evolution of our business and what they could bring to the team.  You’re likely in a Senior NAM/CBM within an FMCG business, considering a move out of sales and a move into capability.

 

You should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

 

  • Significant and recent FMCG industry experience
  • A proven track record in Sales at a field and national level and building Sales Capability
  • Passion for development and a drive to move into this space.  L&D is preferred, but not absolutely essential.
  • A credible facilitator of learning interventions
  • Excellent project management skills; able to lead and manage multiple projects at the same time
  • Skilled in prioritisation of work and ability to deliver against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong communicator that can flex style and influence at all levels of the organisation
