Engineering and Capital Program Manager, Export & License

 

Primary Work location and Work FlexibilityPrimary Work location within any of CEE Molson Coors entities.  Can flex working remotely from home and local office location

Role Requires 20-40% travelsignificant travel commitment within first 6 months including several 2-3 week business trips to APAC location.  Then Qtly 2–3-week business trips to APAC location plus occasional European travel.

Your main purpose is to create, manage & implement capex masterplans/programs that develop site capabilities and improve operational efficiency whilst adhering to MCBC safety and quality standards. You will coordinate the development of asset care programs & process improvements for E&L’s own breweries & also support licensed partners & contract manufacturers. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Create site capex masterplans / capital programs aligning with site management & E&L SC Director, Capex program & project planning, budget setting, control & reporting & Capital Approval Request preparation. Assessment of engineering & capex requirements for brewery sites for contract, license production or potential acquisitions.

 

  • Working closely with key stakeholders, procurement lead & heads of department to ensure project solutions meet expectations & achieve the best mix of price/delivery/quality. Project scoping including equipment specification, performance guarantees, RFQ & tender preparation.

 

  • Execution / governance of capex projects to MCBC standards with major focus on environmental, health & safety & quality via working closely with E&L & brewery-based teams, procurement lead, & relevant contractors. Ensures that documentation, change requests and modifications are followed through, and, ultimately, delivers project completion within performance, budget and time frame targets.

 

  • Supports/coaches brewery-based teams to manage project technicians, craftsmen and contract project managers assigned to projects. Assesses resource needs & supports recruitment, coaching, & training of brewery-based teams in effective project delivery.

 

  • Provide technical expertise in brewing, packaging, and utilities systems. Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and increase capacity. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and industry regulations.

 

  • Support development and implementation of best-in-class asset care systems to improve equipment reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives.

 

  • Be a first point of contact for owned brewery sites & leverage contacts within WE/CEE teams to support site troubleshooting and resolve equipment issues.

  • Relevant engineering experience from brewery/soft drinks/food liquid/packaging industries
  • Led brewery Capex projects (~€0.5-5m) from planning & design through to commissioning, management of a program of capital projects for a site or multi-site operation is an advantage
  • Project management
  • Ability to manage, motivate coach and develop project teams
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills
  • Stakeholder management and contract management skills
  • Professional proficiency in English language – writing and speaking
