The role of the Accounting Analyst is to provide financial data and accounting processing services for various groups in the MCBC business units such as Sales, Commercial, Tax, Supply Chain related to the finance closes; this includes posting journal entries, performing reconciliations, reports & maintaining appropriate documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs month end closing activities such as posting journal entries and accounts reconciliations
• Is directly responsible with the accuracy of the balance sheet and Profit & Loss account 
• Ensures a good cooperation within his own department and with the other departments in GBS 
• Train other team members regarding the daily tasks whenever necessary in order to support the good deployment of activities at team level 
• Identify and implement improvement ideas for standardizing the process

Skills and relevant work experience:

Required:

• (+2) years prior experience in a Finance department
• Attention to details and good organizational skills 
• Good MS Office knowledge with focus on Excel
• SAP or any other ERP system knowledge
• Good English level: B2
