The Solution Designer DevOps Team Leader will develop, build, test, deploy, run and maintain our systems to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security. This role will ensure appropriate availability, reliability, and scalability of applications and services, build automated deployments using configuration management technology and troubleshoot and resolve errors in the existing information systems.

Following good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies throughout product development, this role will deliver the product according to specifications, escalate technical design or specification issues to IT management and application development partners, working within a given time frame to complete all development tasks and provide functional and technical leadership.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively engaged in services and solution define and design
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Works closely with management, business users, and business partners to develop roadmaps for deploying new functions or changes in the financial systems landscape
  • Interacts closely with 3rd party service providers to ensure technical, financial, and quality targets are met in the development and delivery of services and solutions
  • Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for adherence, updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the waste
  • May contribute to the overall design of the solution and define the technical criteria for product/component selection
  • Contributes to decisions about tools, methods & approaches
  • Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Plans and manages the evaluation of software processes. Identifies, proposes and initiates software process improvement activities within the organisation, devising solutions.
  • Collaborating with other software developers, business analysts, architects and IT professionals to implement solutions and interact with third parties
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of solution development within time and cost constraints, analyzing complex systems requirements and preparing design documentation.
  • Creation of development environment configuration & application testing.
  • Execute and/or manage execution unit and system testing on developed software applications to ensure performance, scalability, coding, caching, security, encryption, session state management, and error logging and testing.
  • Execute deployment, provisioning & support activities, write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections, troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software.
  • Manage programs and projects, pilots, and proof of concepts, including technical leader and people manager up to 8 people.
  • Develop action plans, coaching and mentoring team members, developing talent, organizing career path meetings with team members.Performs Individual Performance reviews with the team members


SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience with software/application development with 1-2 years of DevSecOps operations
  • Minimum 1 year experience as people manager
  • Experience with version control systems and application lifecycle management (Git / GitHub)
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines – designing, implementing, and supporting using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, etc.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows, with emphasis on scripting (Bash, Powershell) and automation
  • Familiar with static code analysis and other tools that will be injected to CI\CD Pipelines
  • Familiar with Agile delivery process
  • Experience with Salesforce applications (Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, CloudCraze etc.)
  • Communicates persuasively and effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Proficient with deploying, customizing and integrating software solutions
  • Ability to quickly pick up new software languages, technologies, and frameworks
