Molson Coors Beverage Company is looking for a highly motivated Solution Architect for the Supply Chain & Enabling domain, working in Bucharest, Romania and part of the North American IT Solution Delivery team. 

This role is responsible for providing architecture consulting support on a portfolio of solution developments and enhancements, as well as developing IT strategies for development, deployment, delivery and support, ensuring consistency with enterprise initiatives.

The position is based in Bucharest, Romania, part of Molson Coors GBS Romania Development Center (RDC) and will report to the RDC Lead in Bucharest, within the RDC.


The Responsibilities [WHAT is to be delivered]:

  • Act as lead architect on key projects, providing architecture consulting support on a portfolio of solution enhancements that may be multi-skilled or platform specific
  • Lead in the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies and tools to match business requirements, ensuring consistency across all user groups
  • Maintain holistic understanding of systems and environments, serving as approval for functional and technical specifications which cross applications and/or solutions
  • Contribute to the development of the enterprise architecture and the service and solution architecture through application of appropriate tools, including logical models of components and interfaces along with recognizing potential areas of improvement
  • Provide advice on technical aspects of system development and integration, ensuring correct application of relevant technical strategies, policies, standards, and practices
  • Designs and proposes the system landscape, system refreshes consistent with project schedule for project development, quality assurance and production environments for each of the system components
  • Coordinates with third parties to execute technical design and implementation.
  • Direct and support the implementation of software and hardware upgrades.
  • Participate in innovation management activities: research, suggest, evaluate, rank, oversee proof-of-concept activities, and transfer knowledge of appropriate new technologies into the broader IT environment.
  • Flexible working hours, including staggered shift Romania, from 12 pm to 20:30 pm.

The Qualifications [HOW we expect the employees to work]:


  • Bachelor’s science degree
  • You have at least 8 years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing solutions based on SAP and non-SAP technologies supporting Supply Chain & Enabling processes.
  • Experienced SAP techno-functional architect in SNC, Gateway Service Builder, Portal, ERP, UI5, cloud deployment.
  • Ability to lead integration of on-premise and SaaS solutions.
  • Understanding of strategic issues with a strong authority on the systems development life-cycle and typical issues associated throughout the process
  • Practical knowledge of the organisation’s IT infrastructure and software development and maintenance methods, tools and techniques
  • Sound knowledge of change management, configuration management, reliability and safety methods and the use of metrics
  • Skilled in project risk management
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills and enterprise mindset
  • You are laser focused on results and take pride in a proven track record of delivering secure, reliable, scalable, cost effective enterprise solutions.
  • Knowledge with both waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively and successfully complete assignments and goals with minimal direct supervision within a remote or offshore model.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Very good command of English
  • Flexible working hours, including second shift Romania, from 2 pm to 10 pm.



  • Bachelor’s science degree in Logistics, Finance or a related discipline
  • SAP S/4HANA knowledge
  • Experience with waterfall and agile project delivery methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira)
  •  Experience in working with 3rd Party Service Providers (vendors)
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.
