Molson Coors Beverage Company is looking for a highly motivated Senior Solution Designer, for Solutions Integration Design and Developement, working in Bucharest, Romania and part of North American IT Solution Delivery team, to provide design, development, and consulting support on a portfolio of solutions development and enhancement. The Senior Solution Designer will also be responsible for developing IT strategies for development, deployment, delivery, administrating and support, ensuring consistency with enterprise initiatives and that the software solutions meet business needs.

Following software development practices & life cycle methodologies throughout product development, this role will participate in building product deliverables according to specifications and design.

Many of Molson Coors IT solutions are delivered through multiple 3rd party providers. These IT solutions support business transformation initiatives and often directly affect business processes. This role has responsibility for working with 3rd party providers to co-create Project Deliverables within time, budget, quality and scope.

The position is based in Bucharest, Romania, part of MC GBS Romania Development Center (RDC) and will report to a Technical Architect in Bucharest.

 

The Responsibilities [WHAT is to be delivered]:

  • Act as Senior Solution Designer on key projects, developing interfaces, providing design, development, and consulting support on a portfolio of solution enhancements that may be multi-skilled or platform specific
  • Lead in the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies and tools to match business requirements, ensuring consistency across all user groups
  • Maintain holistic understanding of systems and environments, serving as approval for functional, non-functional, and technical specifications which cross applications and/or solutions
  • Contribute to the development of the enterprise architecture and the service and solution architecture through application of appropriate tools, including logical & physical models of components and interfaces along with recognizing potential areas of improvement
  • Provide advice on technical aspects of system development and integration, ensuring correct application of relevant Solution Integration strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
  • Act as technical domain subject matter expert or Tech Lead on projects, programs or products.
     
    The Qualifications [HOW we expect the employees to work]:
    Required:
  • Bachelor’s science degree. 
  • At least 6 years of architecture, design, development, administration, and configuration experience in Middleware Integration Technologies.
  • Advance knowledge of integration design patterns.
  • Strong background in design cloud integration technologies, like MuleSoft, SAP, Dell Boomi, Informatica etc.
  • Hands on Experience with SOAP and REST webservice Integration.
  • Experience with API management, including architecture, development of reusable integration content and managing related security & access
  • Knowledge of EDI (electronic data interchange) standards like ANSI X12, EDIFACT etc. and handling EDI Integrations
  • Good experience with AS2, Http/s, FTP/s, SFTP protocols
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns between SAP and non-SAP systems
  • Should have implemented at least 3 full integration projects involving on-premises and Cloud applications
  • Understanding of strategic issues with a strong authority on the systems development life cycle and typical issues associated throughout the process
  • Practical knowledge of the organisation’s IT infrastructure and software development and maintenance methods, tools and techniques
  • Sound knowledge of change management, configuration management, reliability and safety methods and the use of metrics
  • General knowledge of project management, Waterfall, Agile and DevOps concepts & principles
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills and enterprise minds
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good command of English language.
  • Flexible working hours, including second shift in Romania, from 2 PM to 10 PM UTM +2.
    Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s science degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics IT or a related discipline
  • Any integration certification is a plus.
  • Experience in application development & configuration, testing and deploying
  • Experience in Waterfall/Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies, frameworks and related tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Experience in working with 3rd Party Service Providers (vendors)
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.

    • Enabling Technologies:  Quality Assurance, IT integration, batch processing, collaboration and knowledge management processes and technologies
    • Solution Development: Solution build and development processes and technologies
