Senior Project Manager Transitions

This role will be the key business partner and single point of coordination to support GBS Romania in managing the transitions from Business Units.


  • Assumes local leadership and coordinate the project resources in GBS RO to follow the GBS Playbook methodology. The playbook includes but is not limited to conduct training, KT, work shadowing, enabling technology, conduct business simulation & service rehearsal test, execute cutover, stabilize operations;
  • Manage the transition related schedules, work plans project performance & reporting, issue and risk log for the receiving entity (GBS RO);
  • Manage the change & communication plan ensuring that identified stakeholders have the appropriate understanding and buy-in.  The plan highlights cadence, mediums, audiences, and key messages;
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with peers in sending entities, and GBS RO etc.;
  • Manages SMEs from all GBS RO towers including but limited to HR, PTP, RTR, OTC, MD during all phases of transition;
  • Complies with the Internal Regulation and the OHS (Occupational Health and Safety), the FSF (Fire Safety and Fighting) and Environmental Protection duties laid down under the law:
  • Responsible for keeping confidential the information, as per the internal policy, within the limits of the duties attached to their job.
  • Informs the line manager of any departure/non-compliance identified in their work.
  • Displays an ethical, decent, honest and fair behavior towards co-workers and in relations with the customers and the partners of the organization.
  • Respects and correctly promotes the image of the company, the code of conduct and the commercial terms, and sets correct relations with both co-workers, as well as customers/partners.

  • Responsible for the correct management of the inventory of goods entrusted to them by the Company and the expense reports regarding the performance of the activity, in accordance with the internal procedures in force.




    • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
    • Highly organized person being able to follow-up on KT tracker details and transitions risks and issues with various stakeholders.

    • Experience in GBS transitions;
    • Experience in GBS specific change and coms;
    • Experience in leading SMEs through all stages of transition.
