The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist ensures support for the team leader in terms of allocating workload withing the team and performing quantity and quality checks (as per the guidelines/direction received from the Team Leader), monitoring day-to-day standard operational tasks, solving PTP operational issues within the team that are in the area of expertise or to escalate them to the Team Leader and ensure that the issue is solved/closed. The purpose of this role is to ensure smooth operational activities within the team, to implement projects as assigned by the Team Leader, to support and develop CI initiatives, to act as buddy/trainer for new joiners, to deliver operational training/refresh training within the team as indicated by the Team Leader. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs, based on the directions provided by team leader, the day by day allocation of volumes and provides input to the team leader regarding any possible productivity issues or reprioritization need in terms of tasks/activities. Performs quality and quantity checks and escalates potential issues to the Team Leader
  • Conceives and delivers operational training for new joiners or experienced team members within the team, including refresh training
  • Ensures proper Knowledge Transfer as regards processes and activities, as per departmental objectives
  • Supports team members in clarifying day by day operational issues and designing complex activities and projects acting as first point of contact for the team for operational situations and projects, in the area of impact

 

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Strong knowledge in Procure to Pay tools and processes (min 1.5 hands-on experience in PTP activities, SAP & Excel knowledge) 

  • B2 level & communication skills

  • Analytical, documenting and reporting skills

  • Stakeholder orientation and ability to work with tight deadlines  

  • Willing to share knowledge, experiences and skills to create a learning culture
