This role has compensation and benefits responsibility for GBS Romania. It acts as the key rewards interface with HR team in this entity. It ensures compliance with global Rewards standards and supports the implementation of change.
Core rewards responsibilities include cash compensation, benefits, well-being, recognition programs, job levelling and pricing, bonus program design and administration, supporting global mobility process, survey participation and assessing the survey needs.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day to day management of GBS compensation, benefits and total rewards programmes ensuring compliance with Global Rewards standards and requirements. Provide expertise and support implementation of change. Manage local benefit providers to agreed service level requirements and budgets.
  • Is responsible for design, implementation and administration of compensation programmes for GBS Romania. Drive local initiatives/benefit/bonus improvements that improve market competitiveness and employee engagement. Coordinate wellbeing program lead the GBS HR and communication team through its design, administration and integration with other HR programmes. Cooperate with MCE and global rewards team members to secure the consistency, synergies and one way approach.
  • Study compensation and benefit market practices and trends provide updates and recommendations to remain competitive. Assess survey needs, suitability and availability. Analyses and evaluates jobs and job descriptions in cooperation with the global rewards team. Applies market pricing techniques to recommend equitable compensation rates within GBS Romania organization. Collaborates with Talent Acquisition team in feasibility studies linked with new roles to support new scope migration in GBS.
  • Serve as the key local interface with GBS's HR team ensuring appropriate communication, consultation and training is in place to support effective management and training of Rewards processes. Contribute to delivery of the GBS long range plan. Work closely with the MCE Rewards Director and GBS HRD to prioritize future agendas.
  • Prepares data for Annual Compensation Planning and bonus process. Provides quantitative analysis and reports, complete ad-hoc rewards team tasks.

 

SKILLS AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Required:         

  • 4-6 years of Rewards experience, of which 2 years of exposure to rewards methodologies
  • Good track record of implementing and governing core rewards processes, e.g. Annual Compensation Planning, bonus plans, job evaluation, job pricing, flexible benefits.
  • Experience in contributing to design of rewards policies, procedures and processes
  • Strong analytical skills, with good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information.
  • Good knowledge and experience in job evaluation and market pricing technics and methodology
  • Good communication skills, fluent English, ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users clearly and concisely.
  • Good relationship and influencing skills. Skilled at working with Senior HR & business leaders on rewards matters
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable passion for delivering excellence and continuous improvement.

Preferred:

  • Strong GBS Romania market knowledge
