Packaging Production Team Lead is responsible to deliver high quality services in Molson Coors GBS Commercial Operations, to ensure appropriate staffing for packaging graphic projects and full completion of deliverables at expected quality standards and business needs, as per agreed timelines. Responsible for defining and maintaing GBS Packaging Production team processes, ensuring appropriate work allocation and capacity planning for the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate people management and coordination abilities, project management, decision-making, coaching and mentoring and developing the team’s skills
  • Oversee packaging production project assignments and ensure deadlines are met; Responsible for the coordination of graphic elements required for design and packaging production
  • Overall production support lead for the GBS packaging production team’s initiatives and output, tracking all projects, ensuring timely completion of work, also that the right projects are prioritized, being responsible for routing projects to appropriate teams
  • Monitor daily operations and address potential issues when they arise; Resolve department day-to-day issues with regional commercial functions, colleagues, and 3rd parties
  • Ensure that Product / Packaging projects are accurately delivered and updated, being the validator/approver for projects delivered within his/her team
  • Ensure that all mechanicals produced by his/her team complies with industry-specific and regional specific requirements and regulations and adherence to Molson Coors Brand guidelines
  • Understand the complexities of the commercial landscape across the business, considering needs of external and internal stakeholders (Manager + ) and incorporate them into operational excellence framework and in prioritization of own team deliverables
  • Facilitate open dialogue with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and business partners to ensure timelines and resources are in alignment throughout the life of a project
  • Ensure all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards
  • Lead and drive actions for improvements in the commercial operations/MCBC graphic studio support processes; Proactive at improving processes and optimizing workflow
  • Establish, monitor and report operational KPIs, drive performance improvements and ensure productivity levels are raised year on year


SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Over 3 years team coordination experience
  • Direct experience with flat mechanical packaging artwork development
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud suite of apps
  • Advanced knowledge of pre-press, color management and printing processed.
  • Good Project Management skills
  • Very good stakeholder and conflict management skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced English level, both written and spoken
  • Prior experience in Shared Service Centers is a plus
  • North America Retailers experience is an asset
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront is a plus
