The Packaging Production Designer is responsible to develop accurate and compliant mechanical files for packaging designs, incorporate all required elements, mandatory and legal information, while maintaining brand quality and equity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality design and development of flat mechanical layouts and high-quality renders
• Ensure that all packaging artwork complies with industry-specific and regional-specific requirements and regulations
• Work closely with the Molson Coors Studio Services Team on conceptualization and development of mechanicals and to maintain brand standards
• Prepare work by gathering information and materials, referencing brand guidelines, supplied briefs, and stimulus. Then, interpret that information with creative flair, originality, and a strong visual and technical production sense
• Manage multiple design projects, ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
• Demonstrate strong collaboration as a team member, and excellent communication abilities

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Over 2 years proven experience in graphic design
• Direct experience with flat mechanical packaging artwork development
• Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of pre-press, colour management and printing processed
• Very acute attention to detail
• Agile and work with a strong sense of urgency
• Capable to manage multiple design projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
• An approachable and collaborative team member, with excellent communication skills
• Advanced English
• While not mandatory, prior experience with packaging design with CPG company  
• Experience working with and designing within content management systems is a plus
• Experience with Adobe Workfront is a plus
