Methods & Tools Project Manager

Molson Coors Beverage Company is looking for a highly motivated Methods & Tools Project Manager, working in Bucharest, Romania and part of the North American IT Solution Delivery team.  The person will be responsible to bring our project delivery to the next level with standards, best practices, tools and metrics that will drive speed to value within our IT portfolio. This position will work across IT functions to define, set-up and support project managers, PMO and IT leadership with processes and systems that will enable measurement and continous improvement. This position is ideal for someone who is ready to take its project management experiences into a new direction where you can influence and and impact the full project portfolio.

The position is based in Bucharest, Romania, part of Molson Coors GBS Romania Development Center (RDC) and will report to a Program Manager, Project Delivery in the RDC in Bucharest.

 

The Responsibilities [WHAT is to be delivered]:

  • Develop & maintain project execution process & standards documentation:
    • Documentation of processes and standards for project planning and project execution
    • Recommend improvements to project execution processes based on industry best practices
    • Collaborate with IT PMO on modification or development of global IT processes and methods
  • Define & configure project execution tools:
    • Design and configure project management tools (MS Project, SharePoint) to meet requirements of project execution processes & standards such as project definition and project status.
    • Develop & maintain project plan templates, risk issues tracker, dependency, decision trackers.
  • Define & configure project execution metrics & analytics:
    • Design and configure reports and dashboards for project and portfolio measurement and tracking (native project management tools, PowerBI)
  • Coach and mentor project managers:
    • Act as project execution & tracking subject matter expert
    • Support project managers with issues or troubleshooting
  • Training & Communication:
    • Provide written and verbal communication to project delivery and PMO community regarding updates to processes, standards and tools
    • Provide training to IT team members on processes, standards and tools

 

    The Qualifications [HOW we expect the employees to work]:

 

    Required:

  • Bachelor’s science degree
  • 4-6 years working in IT with project leading experience; including experience working with 3rd Party Service Providers.
  • Requires strong program and portfolio management experience, including financial management of large and/or multi-year projects, with proven abilities in Project Management, Project Planning & Project Risk Management, plus comprehensive knowledge of solution and project delivery development life-cycles.
  • Strong experience in managing multiple cross functional internal and external stakeholders through building effective relationships.
  • Proven relationship management & communication skills with effective experience of persuasively and effectively influencing others at all levels in the organization
  • Deep knowledge of project management, Waterfall, Agile and DevOps processes, best practices, measurement and reporting
  • Ability to balance a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment, with minimal supervision.

 

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s science degree in a related field
  • Experience in Waterfall/Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies, frameworks and tools (e.g. Jira)
  • Experience Project & Portfolio Management tool suites
  • 2-3 years experience with design & implementation of project management tools
  • Experience designing & implementing process improvements
  • Experience with training development and delivery for project managers
  • Travel up to 15% of the time.
