The RPA IT Business Analyst takes ownership of process architecture related aspects of RPA implementation. Following company methodologies and industry best practices, this role will be accountable for the high-level assessments of automation solutions, analysis of business processes and identification of processes that are suitable for automation.

 

Process:
• Conduct RPA (Robotic Process Automation) High Level Assessments
• Identify processes that are feasible for automation with recommendations for benefits and savings
• Be proactive, support in collecting new ideas
• Define complexity of the process in terms of Robotic Process Automation Delivery
• Make recommendations to alter or reengineer process to automate or improve automation potential
• Create a Business View RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Process Design
• Analyse and observe processes to understand the process steps and applications used to complete business transactions by a user
• Create the To Be Automated Flow future state to automate the process
• Detail Robot Automation logic from the start of the process to completion of the business transaction
• Design automation flow to be unattended
• Conversion of unstructured inputs to structured
• Clearly detail each step of business logic to be configured into the robot
• Create alternate flows, nested validations and verifications to detail the various paths a transaction can traverse through the automation flow being designed
• Detail understanding of the inputs to the process structured vs unstructured layouts, different formats The Process Definition Document (PDD) includes, but is not limited to:
- Detail Process steps, navigation, applications details type, application elements used etc.
- Study process information, standard operation procedures, process maps volumetric trending, seasonality, cyclicality, service levels set up error rate, error volumes, exception handling steps, capacity utilization FTE, productivity metrics and average handling time
- Process interdependencies
- Financial or regulatory

 

Stakeholder Management:
• This role will partner with relevant internal stakeholders (IT, business partners, process leads, developers, business analysts, architects etc). Also, will partner and work closely with vendor/3rd party key stakeholders.

 

Support Technology Implementation:
• Identify the proper technology solution to drive standardization and define the main requirements for the build out phase.
• Supervising system implementation as per the business requirement as per the baselining

 

Continuous Improvement:
• Setting strategy for continuous improvement by deciding on focus and priorities alignment
• Create the right framework along with Processes & Tools team & Business.

 

KEY SKILLS

Required:
• 3+ years’ experience with RPA
• Deep understanding of RPA processes & solutioning concepts
• Strong problem solving, analysis, and design skills
• Familiarity with software development methodology and lifecycle
• Familiarity with process improvement and transformation methodologies
• Familiarity with waterfall and/or Agile delivery model
• Trained on RPA tools (e.g. Blue Prism/Automation Anywhere)
• Proficient with gap analysis, business processes and translation of business requirements into process definition and solution design
• Motivated and able to work proficiently, both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent effective communication skills, both orally and writing
• Good command of English language (speak/write).

 

Preferred:
• Good knowledge of project management
• Experience in working with 3rd Party Service Providers
• Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions and processes
• Ability to quickly pick up new business requirements related to automation/RPA
• Ability to balance a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment
• Process certifications (e.g. Green Belt/TQM)
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
