The role of the Financial Analyst within RTR is to provide management reporting and transaction support to the MCBC business entities. The role will play a key supporting role in helping the entities’ finance teams deliver a timely financial close, financial forecasting and decision support to the commercial and supply chain functions.    

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides data analytics and transactional support to the Finance Business Areas 
• Perform month end closing activities including: JE, Reconciliations, Financial & Management reports
• Prepares key monthly reports to support commercial or supply chain decision making 
• Provides variance analysis vs. budget, flex budget, previous forecasts and prior year.
• Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes

Skills and relevant work experience:

Required:

• (+1) year prior experience in a Finance department
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good MS Office knowledge (including intermediate knowledge of excel)
• SAP experience or Blackline system

Preferred:

• Good time management and prioritization skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
