The Finance Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to the senior stakeholders he or she partners within the business and helps the business managers achieve their financial objectives. The person holding this position will act as a single point of contact for the finance department to the business managers and will effectively prepare and present financial performance and variance analysis to enable informed decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures accurate and timely financial management information is prepared with detailed analysis of spend
• Independently conducts monthly review meetings with budget holders and acts as a key point of contact to support the budget holders with commercial business, capital and investment proposals
• Monthly preparation and presentation of financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk
• Builds strong relations and provides financial support for effective decision making
• Challenges current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible
• Develops financial models in order to provide variance analysis vs. budget, flex budget, previous forecasts and prior year
• Ability to influence and partner with finance teams in the business units together with non-finance managers. Provides analysis of headcount, expense, CAPEX

SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE

• 5 years experience in Finance & minimum 3 as Finance Business Partner
• General Accounting Principles knowledge (ACCA/CIMA certification would be an advantage)
• Advanced Excel knowledge/BI tools 
• ERP system experience (SAP would be an advantage)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and advanced English level
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships
