Digital Merchandising Specialist

Is responsible for performing work activities included in the Commercial Operations process for the Molson Coors organization, acting as subject matter expert for merchandising department. Is responsible for building and validating planograms, ensuring the planograms are presented / implemented with quality and accuracy. 

Keeps a good relationship with Space Lab Category Management, sending final planograms ready for store level execution. 

 

Key Responsabilities

  • Performs space opportunity analysis (showcases, shelves from the stores), distribution opportunity analysis and is responsible for communicating the opportunities to stakeholders; 

  • Presents objectives category viewpoint to customer as regards the planogram done for the allocated product category and actively contributes in developing the partnership relationship with the stakeholders, through quality and relevance of the opinion given;  

  • Develops assortment recommendation for showcases and shelves and develops planograms for the allocated products, as per project specification and as per the allocation done by direct manager; 

  • Prepares/validates planogram recommendations; 

  • Presents the recommendations following the validation of the planograms, and integrates all feedback received in order to ensure that the final planogram is performed correctly, according to the project specifications; 

  • Produces and/or validates multiple shelf sets based on direction provided by the stakeholders; 

  • This role will partner with all internal and external customers from Commercial Operations department, to support business operations and enable timely and effective market decisions; 

  • Contributes to the efforts of adequate organization of commercial spaces in stores that have been allocated through the project, through proposals for arrangement and organization of products and validating planograms, thus contributing to the fulfillment of sales objectives for the respective category and range of products; 

  • Works with Stakeholders/Global Business Services specialists to build business unit space management partnership with the retailer(s) and establish business unit as the space management thought leader for the beverage category, through proposals for arrangement and organization of products and validating planograms; 

  • Prepares she stores for the merchandising process and updates the relevant systems (ensures data preparation, planogram preparation, clean and upload), respecting the agreed process for the merchandising project; 

  • Edits and processes the images of Molson Coors products and uploads the information in the internal applications that are storing product images;  

  • Creates new products from beverage category and updates the corresponding systems in order to do the merchandising process; 

  • Responsible for communicating and maintaining the relationship with stakeholders and ensures that he requests all the necessary information. 

  • Ensures that the information is clearly transmitted, offers support to analysts and coaching / training sessions according to the needs of the individual / department, in the limits established bu the direct manager; 

  • Builds, validates planograms and is responsible for the quality, deadline and achievement of the target at project level, in own area of contribution; 

  • Conducts trainings and workshops and accommodates processes and new employees, in his own area of contribution that is established by the direct manager; 

  • Communicates final planogram and prepares planogram outputs for store level execution. 

  • Responsible for deeper set analysis, suggests space and assortment strategies based on the account objectives, and supports customer relationships/presentations. 

 

Skills & Relevant Work Experience

Required: 

  • Previous experience as Digital Merchandising Analyst – minimum 1 year; 

  • And/or 

  • Experience of working in a similar capacity or transferable experience in a prior role (such as marketing/ merchandising/product placement/collaborating with sales team) – minimum 2 years; 

  • Experience working in a shared service, process driven or service center environment – minimum 1 year; 

  • Very good communication & stakeholder management skills; 

  • Very good problem-solving skills; 

  • Language Skills: English B2; 

  • Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Office suite; 

  • Strong analytical skills; 

  • Able to escalate the communication when the situation arises; good decision-making skills and good assertivity level in order to sustain recommendations / points of view; 

  • Very good ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and specific time constraints;

 

Prefered

  • 2 years’ experience in merchandising within FMCG industry is a plus; 

  • Experience in development of analytical presentations to assist in selling efforts is a plus; 

  • Exposure to multicultural environment and good coaching/ training skills.
