The Data Engineer is responsible for developing the code for sourcing, staging and transforming data, and guide and test the work of other engineers. Deliver automated solutions for data ingestion and preparation, to be used by Data Scientists, BI Analysts and business users.
The job holder will be responsible for collaborating with functional business leaders to build data processing pipeline to address business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform the design, development, deployment, and testing of data ingestion pipelines to address business requirements, using tools such as Python, SQL, Databricks, Informatica etc.
- Design, build and implement data extraction, integration and preparation scripts for our Data Warehouse or Advanced Analytics platform.
- Throughout the project development, provide flexible solutions in a rapid paced environment and enhance the scripts/ETL pipelines to adapt to the changes in business requirements.
- Build ETL pipelines folowing and promoting company standards and governance
- Develop and implement scripts that test the data quality and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data
- Ensure standards are met so that solutions deployed have technical integrity and stability.
SKILLS & RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- 3 years proven experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong understanding of data and information architecture
- Experience building end-to-end data solutions with focus on integration
- Experience in managing implementation projects that utilize ELT
- Experience in a data-engineering role with demonstrated experience in data integration and data warehouse projects, including knowledge of data transformation and validation
- English language: Advanced
- Experience with ETL tools such as Python, SQL, Databricks, Airflow
Preferred:
- Experience with DBT
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ900, Airflow/Astronomer, Databricks, DBT) are a plus
- Experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies & frameworks and related tools (e.g. Jira)

At Molson Coors Global Business Services, we believe in rewarding our people fairly, transparently, and equitably for the impact they make.
Our Total Rewards package includes a base salary of lei209,900.00 - lei275,500.00 (posting salary range) plus a 15 % target annual bonus, alongside a comprehensive benefits offering designed to support different needs and life stages: a medical subscription (with dental and vision coverage), life insurance, a monthly budget to spent on flexible benefits, wellbeing support, an Employee Assistance Programme and 22 days annual leave with additional days off for vintage and birthday.
The salary range shown above reflects what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Final pay is based on a number of non‑discriminatory factors, such as previous experience, skills and internal equity.
