Six Pints Collective is currently seeking a Bartender to join our Taproom Team at Granville Island Brewing, located on Granville Island in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.

We do things differently, and we’re looking for smart, ambitious beer champions that want to jump right in and make a difference working in an innovative, brand-led company committed to brewing premium, quality products.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collecting payments from customers
- Operating point of sale terminals and providing bills to customers
- Cleaning the bar and the area around it
- Hiring and training new employees
- Operating blenders, coffee makers, ice cream makers, and other equipment
- Washing glassware and bar utensils
- Monitoring bar inventory and ordering supplies and ingredients when needed
- Ensuring compliance with provincial liquor and food safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Mixology or the ability to make traditional cocktails and create new ones
- Must have a valid serving it right certificate.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
- Sound decision-making skills.
- A detail oriented, sincere and responsible person with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule.
