The Headlines:
In the role of Senior, Manager Commercial Enablement working in Toronto, ON you will be part of the Canadian Commercial Operations team. You will lead a cross functional team (Sales, Finance, Revenue Management), working on People, Process and Tools to increase Canadian commercial efficiencies and increase collaboration. Generating business value by unlocking new commercial capabilities, reducing commercial complexity and focused on empowering our commercial teams with the right information at the right time to make the best decisions.
This position reports to the VP of Canadian Commercial Operations and will coach and support a team of 4 managers and 3 indirect reports (manager, analyst & specialist). This role is a key consultant on any AmCOM or Global initiative that impacts or includes the Canadian Market. This individual focuses on enablement project management, customer management expertise, finance business partnering, controls and process improvements, coordinate IT implementation, highlight future business impacts and anticipate market and technological evolutions, select system & solutions, develops vision of commercial ecosystem to implement best in class tools & purposes.
The Responsibilities:
- Most importantly, you will lead a team of 4 talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations.
- A skilled communicator with ability to influence and negotiate cross functionally on priority scope, outcomes and solutions with peers and senior leaders.
- A strategic & inclusive mindset, who possesses critical thinking skills while strategizing solutions for superior commercial and IT performance.
- Demonstrated success in leading transformational projects, including change management and adoption.
The Other Qualifications:
- You have 10-15 years of experience across various functions: Sales, Finance & IT.
- You have 5-7 years of experience in coaching and developing highly talented people with diverse skillsets.
- You have a deep understanding of Technology and new technological trends
- You have a deep understanding of Financials (CPA is a plus)
- You have strong commercial awareness and a comprehensive understanding of how the function contributes to business objectives, along with comprehensive industry knowledge. CPG preferred.
- You have demonstrated success in leading transformational projects, including change management and adoption.
- You are a status Quo Challenger who asks lots of questions, not always to seek answers, but to encourage people to think and challenge themselves.
- You are a skilled communicator who influences and negotiates with great latitude on outcomes.
- You are a conceptual thinker in complex/completely new situations to develop solutions.
- You are a strong People Leader with ability to delegate and trust while being able to coach.
- You have knowledge of Safe Agile, Anaplan, Tableau, WEBI and PowerBI
