The Headlines:   

In the role of the Sr Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance located in Toronto, ON you will join our Commercial Finance Manager team. In this role you will be a key contributor to the Commercial Finance team and Six Pints Commercial Organization.  Working closely with Taproom and Retail operational teams, this role has full accountability for accounting, reporting and controls, and strategic business partner support for the Six Pints Taprooms and Retail businesses. This role is also works closely with the marketing organization developing financial business cases for new initiatives and product extensions. 

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Partners with business owners to understand underlying business processes to improve the bottom line of national Retail and Taproom performance.
  • Manage full P&L for national Retail and Taproom locations in partnership with business owners.
  • Prepares, analyzes and reviews periodic financial performance with business owners and supports month end close and forecast processes.
  • Supports and facilitates annual financial budgeting process.
  • Supports and participates in financial activities to drive improvement to EBITDA and eliminate losses.
  • Coordinates and participates in month end close, including balance sheet account reconciliation, journal entries, intercompany transactions, system issue resolution and physical inventory counts.
  • Prepares business cases for innovation products by identifying and conducting fact-checking for all assertions for Net Sales Revenue, Costs, Logistics and Marketing and highlighting the R&Os associated with the launch.
  • Supervision of Retail and Taproom Coordinator on daily activities and deliverables.

 

The Other Qualifications: 

 You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Payroll (CPA preferred)

  • You have at least 3-5 years experience in Accounting, Reporting, or Financial Analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities.
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities
