Six Pints Collective is currently seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our team based in Toronto ON! Reporting to the Head of Six Pints Commercial, this role will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Market Development Managers in the field and the Internal Sales Team (IST) in Creemore. You will also work with the Reginal MCBC Account Sales Management team and other cross-functional Managers and Executives and brand leads across the MCBC organization. In addition, they will be integral in planning and preparing strategic and tactical initiatives regarding the company's business objectives for the Six Pints sales segment and the individual regions they oversee. 

 

You will be responsible for directing, controlling, and ensuring the delivery of business plans, execution standards and financial budgets in the assigned market by regularly managing, monitoring, motivating, developing, and evaluating the performance of the MCBC field sales teams, Six Pints Market Development Managers and Six Pints Internal Sales Teams in accordance with MCCEP and FSM standards. You will also be responsible to act as commercial liaison across the various operational departments to ensure that Six Pints’ plans are translated into the MCBC system. This includes monitoring and providing consultation to the forecast, supply chain, CST and commercial operations teams.

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Increasing Six Pints’ business ability to become the first choice for both MCBC internal teams and consumers
  • and customers by providing strategic leadership, direction and management across Ontario and the Western
  • provinces.
  • Building a winning team by developing extraordinary talent
  • Build, lead and ensure the execution of business and financial plans to achieve objectives, through the sales
  • teams in the assigned area.
  • Primary responsibility for defining and cascading sales targets, continuously monitoring and analyzing
  • development against key sales indicators (KPIs) and implementing action plans to ensure positive development.
  • Manage relationships between, forecast & supply, deployment, operations, brand leads market managers, key
  • account managers, and other functions to ensure opportunities are unlocked, inefficiencies are avoided, and
  • sales opportunities are maximized to enable sales teams in the field to execute and meet Six Pints goals.
  • Executes in market days in accordance with the standards set by the MCCEP FSM, including POCE audits, 3x3
  • coaching, and high-performing POC visits.
  • Brand Champion Requirements
  • Creating and executing compelling, strategic and motivational brand messaging across the broader MCBC team,
  • supporting large scale engagement initiatives such as the MCBC annual conference as well as regional FAST
  • START meetings and motivational gatherings.
  • Externally, you will lead customer facing initiatives such as “Board-Room” selling at Key Reginal and National
  • Customers in both on and off premise channels
  • Product Knowledge/Education Requirements
  • Lead the Product Knowledge/educational development of MCBC internal teams, sourcing and overseeing the
  • implementation of third-party beer education platforms.
  • Manage the delivery of external facing training seminars.
  • Create, and execute company-wide engagements that ensure Six Pints portfolio is kept top of mind within the
  • broader MCBC organization.
  • Support brand teams, ensuring factual accuracy of brand romance copy and the infrastructure of our route-to-
  • market tools. And lastly, you will manage the best-in-class execution of external-facing product knowledge and
  • training requests.

 

IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU:

  • You have a progressive experience of 7 to 10 years in sales and key account management in the direct sales sector
  • or through direct in-store sales.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in personnel management and team leadership.
  • Experience in alcohol/beverage or packaged good preferred
  • You have a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or another relevant field.
