In the role of Sr Mgr Forecasting & DP working in Toronto, ON, you will be part of the IBP and Demand Planning team. You will manage the multi-year demand planning process across CA+LATAM to deliver business results by driving strategic direction aligning to business priorities, financial goals, and operations. In this role the Sr Manager is the key data expert overseeing insights and execution of the plan across all outlets. This role will be the expert within the country level demand planning application design, deliver analytical insights and education, and provide the unique combination of a deep understanding of the enterprise business processes, forecast models, and demand patterns impacted by industry trends.
This position reports to Sr Director IBP and Demand Planning.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Most importantly, you will lead a team of 3-5 talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations
- Own and develop the demand plan for Canadian + LATAM to meet the marketplace demand. Own the analysis of customer and vendor demand to develop and fine tune forecasts. This includes the development, execution and performance analysis of demand plans to meet the evolving beverage portfolio. Support in unifying the Canada + LATAM and NA demand set will be required.
- Be the expert in the development of the Canadian and LATAM statistical model creation.
- Govern the development and management of systems selection and utilization through the knowledge of various route to markets and industry trend understanding.
- Ensuring the forecast accuracy from existing month to 24 months out including reviewing purchase history, sales history, the marketing strategies used to promote products.
- Develop and lead strategy meetings to align with cross-functional leadership teams including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure short - and long-term goals are met.
- Set up governance of data analytics with clear rule sets, decision thresholds and ensure continuity.
- Develop, manage and present key performance indicators and create/maintain dashboards to aid in the monthly sales, collabs, brand collabs and monthly IBP cycle meetings that will directly impact the operational direction across operations, finance, commercial and supply planning.
- Own and develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Monitoring and reporting on important change in sales forecasts, budgets and business.
- Manage a team that contribute to the ensuring the optimal landed cost with least obsolescence.
Key Ingredients:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or Finance OR equivalent experience 4 + years
- You have at least 10-15 years experience in analytical expertise, statistical process control, structured problem solving and extensive E2E planning knowledge
