The Headlines

 

In the role of Senior Manager, National Asset Care, working in Toronto, Ontario you will be part of the Canadian Technical Services and World Class Supply Chain (WCSC) management team. You will have oversight and accountability for all Regional Asset Care / Maintenance strategy, progressive maintenance pillar and maintenance performance results in the Canadian breweries and associated distribution network.

 

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Technical Services and WCSC, and works closely with the Canadian Supply Chain teams, WCSC teams, and Brewery teams nationwide. This role has the accountability of managing the National Asset Care / Maintenance program, which includes the regional pillar lead role for the WCSC Progressive Maintenance Pillar, strategic and thought leadership within Asset Care / Maintenance, which supports improving asset reliability performance, optimizing maintenance costs, spare parts management strategy for all 5 breweries and coaching local teams on executing against best practices.

 

The Responsibilities:

 

  • Full accountability to implement strategies that accelerate and improve current Asset Care and Progressive Maintenance Pillar practices and processes to improve equipment performance, reliability and lower repair costs. The WCSC 2.0 Program is the cornerstone of the activities that will drive new ways of working throughout supply chain operations.
  • Responsible for the WCSC Progressive Maintenance pillar which includes management of the pillar material and coaching success across the major breweries in Canada
  • Deliver improvements across the Progressive Maintenance related metrics such as: unplanned downtime, PM compliance, and Schedule compliance
  • Effectively manage a team comprised of the National Asset Care Manager and National Asset Care Specialists to achieve and deliver team/department targets, regional priorities, performance and cost management.  Support for capital projects through the Progressive Maintenance pillar and as the Regional Reliability Engineering lead within the Initiative Management pillar.

 

The Other Qualifications:

 

  • You possess a proven track record of achievement in the manufacturing environment and experience with consumer packaged goods would be preferred.
  • You have demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Chain Initiatives (or equivalent programs) to deliver on challenging objectives
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business
  • You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development
  • You exhibit our core values and demonstrate our Molson Coors Success Factors
  • Education: Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma.
  • Experience: 5-8 years within engineering and asset care/ maintenance management with 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Industries:  Preferred experience within food and beverage manufacturing.  Other CPG related industry would also be considered an asset.
