A part of the Senior Leadership Team the Senior Manager, HR is an essential role within the company, managing all aspects of the People & Culture Strategy for a growing portfolio of Craft beers and breweries. Role would include leading and supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management, education & training, and providing guidance and support to Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, and Employees on all things HR. Reporting to the Cheif Marketing Officer for Molson Coors and Craft in Canada this role is instrumental in helping promote our company and community culture, ensuring we are who we say we are, internally and externally. 



Employee/Manager Coaching, Advice, & Support


  • Provide HR consultation, strategy, planning, coaching, and support to staff, supervisors, and managers, including performance management, culture development, strategy and integration projects.
  • Support 2 direct reports in the roles of Payroll and Benefits Administration and HR Advisor – Supply Chain.


Employee Relations & Cultural Stewardship

  • Lead the development and execution of a National People Survey: develop survey/questions, administer survey, data analysis, formation & leadership of action committee, evaluate suggestions, implement and communicate changes.
  • Liaise with, or support team in interactions with employees regarding policies, procedures, legislation, and HR concerns nation-wide, be familiar with legislation/collective agreements that affect employees in different provinces.
  • Manage special projects as assigned including Integration projects post acquisition, change management and harmonization initiatives.
  • Support the Employer & Community Brand in all interactions.
  • Support the HR advisor role in internal, employee communications


Recruitment, Selection, & On-Boarding (full-cycle)

  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, and on-boarding for regional and national roles in Commercial and G&A
  • Lead the design of and support the delivery of the new employee on-boarding and orientation process.  Evaluate quarterly for each business unit. 


Learning & Development

  • Support employees in setting and meeting short and long-term professional development goals within the business with the use of a formalized Professional Development Program
  • Collaborating with Managers and your team on Employee perks, training opportunities, and events.


Administrative Duties

  • Preparing documents & templates including: job descriptions, organizational charts, employment contracts etc.  
  • Policy and SOP writing and communications as it pertains to HR.
  • Oversee the management of all HR documents on Sharepoint for access by employees at all levels, at all business units nationally.
  • Advise and support leaders when implementing new processes/trainings as related to new and/or changing legislation.
  • Build and Maintain a budget including Rewards and Recognition, Recruiting, Staff Communications & Training and Development.
  • Conduct regular pay / market analysis research, report findings to Senior Leadership and make recommendations.

  • College or University education in Human Resources Management or related field, CHRL an asset
  • 8+ years’ experience in a progressive HR role
  • Proven ability to work with team members across all areas of the business, from the brewhouse to the boardroom.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
  • Confident, accurate, and advanced written and oral English language communication skills
  • French speaking is considered a strong asset
  • An ability to think outside the box- a solutioneer that thinks like a business owner
  • Ability to organize and prioritize the changing needs of a day
  • Ability to work in a fast past, ever changing environment
