The Headlines

In the role of Sales Planning and Analytics Manager working in Toronto, you will be part of the Planning, Analytics and Filed Sales Management team lead by Nicolas Ross, Head of Commercial Planning & FSM.  The Sales Planning and Analytics Manager is the lead person for sales planning for his or her region.  The candidate also plays an important role around analytics by extracting and translating data into meaningful insights leading to decisions on the business.   The role also ensures reporting is adequate from an end user stand point while being their representative during new report developments with design experts (IT). 

 

The Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate annual planning kick-off meeting for his/her region
  • Ensure planning material ‘’tool-box’’ is standardized among brand teams while meeting account Team requirements.
  • Organize planning volume reviews in final planning phases
  • Participates, with account teams and management, in defining key areas of success on the business  aling with supporting its tracking performance.
  • The candidate plays a role in seeking continuous improvements in our annual planning practices. 
  • Extracts and translates data into meaningful insights on business requests emerging from strategic business discussions.
  • Finds and tracks emerging trends on segments, channels and brands for his/her region.
  • Presents insights and recommendations during forum discussions.
  • Ensure proper business reporting is in place and represents end user for report information adjustments or new developments.

  • You respect your commitments and can obtain support from cross-function members.
  • You have a University degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or Accounting (MBA is a plus)
  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in the CPG industry, Key account management, Sales finance or other business planning roles at a CPG company
  • As part of the recruitment process, the candidates will be required to provide consent to complete a criminal background check (if locally applicable).
