The Headlines:   

We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst – Consolidating & Reporting based in Toronto, ON. You will be part of the Canada Commercial Finance team. The person will provide finance support to various functions for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the Canadian business. This position  reports to the Senior Manager Consolidating & Reporting and works closely with with the Canadian commercial team, various Finance and Leadership partners, as well as the Molson Coors Technical Accounting, Corporate Financial Planning and Global Business Services groups.

 

The Responsibilities: 

  • Perform month end close activities, including but not limited, to journal entries, accruals, consolidation, financial reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting
  • Prepare and review the monthly reports with the Molson Coors Canadian Leadership team
  • Coordinate with the Corporate Finance team the results and analytics for the Canadian Commercial Finance organization
  • Prepare and review our Brands and Regionals P&Ls with the Canadian Finance and Commercial
  • Prepare reporting and analysis for 3 year strategic plan
  • Demonstrates the initiative to drive change and influence others in support of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Use accounting principles and knowledge of internal controls to provide objective, timely and accurate financial information
  • Review, evaluate, and prioritize tasks/project assignments and communicate key issues to management

 

The Other Qualifications: 

  • You have a CPA or (equivalent) designation or in the process of attaining CPA (or equivalent) designation
  • You have at least 3+ years of financial analyst experience
  • You have strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (SAP)
  • You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. 
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business.
  • You demonstrate the ability to autonomously deliver on stretch targets, utilizing strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to deal with change, strong and energetic leadership skills to effectively lead new initiatives across the organization, set direction and drive for results.
  • You are a motivated leader that can inspire others; you respect your commitments and are able to obtain optimal results from your team through respect and development.
